About Stoneleigh Ladies Choir

Stoneleigh Ladies Choir

All about us...

The choir was formed in 2013 by just 12 enthusiastic ladies from Stoneleigh Village. Since then, the membership has grown to between 35 and 40 ladies from all over Warwickshire and Coventry.

The main aim is to enjoy ourselves and the company of like-minded ladies. So we meet at Stoneleigh Village Hall every Thursday afternoon between 1.30 and 3pm during term time to sing under the leadership of our Musical Director, Seb Farrall who makes it a fun afternoon.

The choir aims to perform two or three singing events each year to raise money for local charities. Occasionally the choir will be invited to sing for local groups at special or seasonal events. Many friendships have bonded through the choir and we have extended our activities to other social events such as quiz nights, meals out and theatre trips.

We sing a variety of music, usually in two parts, soprano and alto. There are no auditions and you don’t have to read music. The only requirement is that you enjoy singing. If you think you might like to join, please come along and spend an afternoon with us.
